The project, called “Lungoirno”, is the backbone of a large redevelopment plan and urban transformation, which focuses on the project of a “New Salerno”.

It foresees the construction of an urban axis along the river Irno: the same river that will see works related to hydraulic and underpass of the two railway lines intercepted. The project also includes the harmonization of the landscape and environmental composition in the areas of interest, street furniture projects and a new urban park with fountains.
