The project included: harbour basins,access channel, breakwaters (5,100 m), general cargo, bulk and container wharves (5,400 m) covered storage facilities (227,000 sq. m), open storage space (560,000 sq. m), service and office buildings; roads (50 km), railways (30 km), utilities (drinking water, fire fighting, sewerage, HT and LT electricity
networks).
