The Risk Map of the Cultural Heritage is a project aimed at at the definition of the systems and procedures which enable the planning of different maintenance and restore interventions on architectural, cultural, archaeological and historical‐artistic heritage, according to their state of conservation and to the environmental nuisance.

The main objectives of the project are the following:
• Organisation and structuring of a computerised standard system able to collect, elaborate and manage cartographic information and alphanumeric data related to the cultural heritage and to the environmental and antropic “events”, potential agents of hazard and damage;
• To provide information relating to the consistency and the characteristics of the Italian architectural and archaeological heritage;
• To provide the first assessment of the hazards, which threaten the Italian Cultural Heritage.
